God Damnit, got it from boards that shorten links.

I'll fix later if I can, unless someone finds the thread.

Meh... nicer shadows/lighting, contrast too high - washes out detail on post it notes etc.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

Agreed.

I really don't find the 'improvements' good enough to consider installing it.

Same.

I must admit the shadows are nicer, but... err.. who really cares about shadows??

Never gonna be impressed by HR's graphics anyway, are we? Running on a re-hash of an engine which has at least one game running on the PS2.... !!

It's not about the graphics. It's about the gameplay ;)

That's what I love about Eidos Montreal. They've designed a game with...

-Great (but not OUTSTANDING) graphics

-Fantastic gameplay

-Phenomenal detail and artistic quality.

Devs these days are so bent on graphic quality, that the time they spend on it far outweighs the others aspects the game actually NEEDS to be good.

If devs starting doing the opposite of what they're doing now, SOOO many games would be great. They'd earn more money/respect, and we wouldn't have to drop money on a new gpu for years.

They should set a standard for graphic quality in their game, and then work full force on other aspects. IF the game is finished, and they have spare time.. THEN they could work on better graphic quality optional for diehard graphic-whore gamers.

A good MO for any games developers, I believe. Agree totally!!

BUT.....

I think they really effed up cutting the amount of movable/breakable items. Think Half Life 2. Then think DX:HR... no comparison. Graphically either, actually.

But yeah... I'm still finding the game immersive and I've not had the chance to play much.

Back on topic... ENBSeries... methinks it doesn't have a place in this game.

Exactly.

Reason being: Eidos Montreal favored Artistic quality more than graphic quality/enhancement.

+1 for them.

KEEP THE GRAFX HORSE AWAY FRM R DX~

-1 for lack of environmental interaction though!! Not letting that one go, dammit.....

Wonder if ENBseries could be tweaked a bit, though, those shadows are shexy....

-but you see though.. That's another reason I love them! They take user feedback very well! If you as well as others tell them this, they will for certain, make sure there is much more interaction in the next game :)
