The Director's Cut offers a full slate of Wii U™ GamePad features including touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and many other neural hub enhancements. Along with in-depth Miiverse™ integration, the Director's Cut also provides access to developer commentaries and in-game guides.

Tongs's Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have also been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the Director's Cut. Other core DEUS EX: HUMAN REVOLUTION augmentations include overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, and striking visual improvements which make this edition the best looking and most immersive Deus Ex experience available.

What

They port this shit to the Wii U but not the PC?

They better make a patch or something

in b4 Directors' Cut DLC

I have faith that some of the content updated will eventually hit PC.

Wouldn't even mind paying for overhaul DLC that fixes those fucking boss fights.

I wouldn't pay at all for that, I should be entitled for it.

Of course, but it would make a big enough improvement to warrant a £5 price tag. I've had my money's worth of DXHR already, that would want me to play it again.

Well I didn't pay for the game in the first place so why start now \:D/

Redesigned boss fights?
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!11one

Though I hope they do something with the ending(s) as well.. and not the whole 'press this button for this ending' thing.. something on which you HAVE to do something.. like DX1.

EDIT: Will they do it for PC as well?

I'm totally re-buying it for the bossfights.

I hope we get to have the refinements and re-designed areas for a new version or patch for PC. Exclusive stuff like the making of, 8 hours of audio developer commentary and the Wii U controls extremely unlikely.

Looks like there's a demand for it.

Why not?

Of course.

If it doesn't come out on PC I'll honestly feel incredibly insulted, considering it's the PC generation that made Deus Ex popular. Human Revolution wouldn't even exist otherwise (no, I don't care that lots of people play consoles these days).

I do wonder why they did this with Human Revolution, however, and not recent/upcoming titles like Tomb Raider or Thief. Seems odd to me that they'd do this though I'm not complaining (unless they don't do something for the PC - then I'll complain loudly).

I honestly think they'll make some sort of update or DLC (fine, but I really hope they make it free).

They announced recently that no changes will come to PC. Cue angry fans.

Why? What reason could possibly compel to waste so much damn time on features that only the Wii-U will see (and not even get the full potential out of)?

Every year developers find new ways to slap people in the face, and it's starting to grate.

Yeah but dev's will often say one thing, and end up doing another as well. If anything, this is some 'exclusive' ruse they worked out with Nintendo that will probably last a month (as per said contract) until they magically decide to release it on PC and earn more money.

At least they are improving the game; but they are going about it the complete wrong way.

Yeah I agree with Aidan, I think they'll go back on their claim because fans won't stop complaining if the changes are good on Wii U.

Also what's to note is that the guy making the director's cut didn't work on DXHR.

I'll take this moment to appropriately re-post that video we all like to cringe at...

"give the-bb-player experie-BALANCING that was brutally hard w-w-wEE don't know we don't know HOW hes been augmented weither he can jump and fall a guy weither he can see through walls and so.... so one of the jussssssinslikshounnnn-the making of right like.. we play these levels again and again and again but but beforeeee you walk into the wall before you walk in the actual arena I guess of where you play"

We're fucked.

It still confuses me why Eidos outsourced the boss fights in the first place. The game took (approximately) four years to make. What were they doing in that time?

So the porters will be Straight Right, the ones who ported Mass Effect 3.

New things not seen before include a first person aim down sights, and crapper framerate by the looks of it.

I expect not to re-buy this to get the features I should already have.
