I don't understand, though, why does Eidos France executive speak for a studio located in Canada? How is he involved in the project? And why Eidos US representatives were asked about official comments, while their headquarters is in Wibledon, near London. Also why did he say that it's in development when there's no confirmation "on new Deus Ex" from the heads?
It seems to me it was an attempt of Eidos to see how the community would react on that.

I suppose the DXR team wouldn't be so happy if it used the UT2k4 build -.-

It will probably be on the Unreal Engine 2.0 (The same which UT04 uses, I think)

A game of such level definitely won't use an outdated engine, first released in 2002.

Real pity though. My computer probably can't handle UE 2.0

I hope it'll use Unreal 3, a superb engine indeed.

Hopefully not, not much went on before DX 1. I'd prefer a rewriting of DX: IW which still includes Alex Denton as one of the main characters (not the) and that you eventually play as JC Denton for the majority of the game.
I'd also like to see the 2 Page and Simons clones put to good use too.

Indeed. Since I can run the editor. 2.0, yes. My computer can't handle UEngine 2.0 because of the pixel shader.

I am getting a computer with a centuple core. (centuple = hundredfold) I currently have a crap computer, and I am not planning on buying a new one soon.

I'm sure it will have next generation graphics, like all games coming out these days. I am assuming the engine will be on Unreal Engine 3, like Gears of War or UT2007.

The French government has invested many millions to make sure France is the leader in computer gaming in the next few years, also it may simply a French Language thing, that some Canadians speak French. I would not be surprised if French offices are running the show.
