Deus Ex Alpha

Greetings to the Deus Ex/Project 2027 community. This is my first post and these are my questions:

1) What's the deal with Magnus? I gave Amrita to him in Moscow and he turns up in Mt. Weather with his goons and tries to kill me! He mentioned something about Daniel "killing a lot of people to get here". What, does he have a problem with use of lethal force (as opposed to Daniel leaving his enemies unconscious)? That can't be it, right?

2) How can I save Xander? Come on guys, North Labs is a big place and it's been like a week since I played it, I don't want to go back and look all over again. Can someone tell me what I was supposed to do in NL to save Xander, so I can stop wondering?

1) Don't lie to him during the first meeting, then give him Amrita in Moscow and some cigarettes in Mt. Weather.

2) Don't use the train in North Labs so that there will be no cutscene where his helicopter gets damaged.
