Lets do it, I aint done a complete melee walkthrough before.
However, I'm going to lay down a few viking laws:

• No ranged weapons of course!
• No hacking, hacking is for wussies!
• No lockpicking, lockpicking is for wussies! (SMASH DOOR)
• Bonus points if no augs to be used (excluding ARMS augs, speed enhancement and Synthetic Heart), augs is for wussies!
• Bonus points if no medikits used, medikits is for wussies! (SNACKS AND ALCOHOL!)
• Bonus points for screenprints of throwing heavy explosive objects with your viking might ARMS.
• No stealth, stealth is for wussies!
• MINUS points for Nano tech sword, be honest if you used this, Viking no what Nano is but know that Nano is for pussies

I propose this on hard or 'realistic' mode (realistic might be abit too easy).

sadly, you can't cut throat in DX like in GTA:SA, because melee in hard mode gonna be pretty hard

It loads but it won't take screenshots nor videos. This was on my laptop however, and Dell suck shit. And they really do. Pfft! What laptop fucks up over a half-can of coke spilt on it? Lol, mine does. And yes, that actually happened (by accident lol, I lost loads of fucking stuff...).

Anyway,s I have a few questions on this Viking Walkthrough:

1. What skills are we limited to? May we implement any skill as long as they do not endorse using hacking, lockpicking, multitooling or ranged weapons?

2. I forgot number two. Fuck...

Low tech, environment, swimming and medicine.

Arrright. Was gunna do t3h swimming. But why Medicine... med does shit.

No stealth, stealth is for wussies!

Im slightly worried about running towards an evading and shooting enemy with tnt crate or sword. Yeah i still havent gotten around to it, was going to just now, but no stealthy behind the back approaches seem like a suicide, from the very first enemies to begin with. Meh, Ill try anyway.

There is ways around true stealth, distract them before you fight and run at them.
Don't fight a unarmed person, it is considered dishonorable.

i killed two unatco guys just now, is that ok?



edit: running at the enemy with ck and smashing it in the face is actually quite effective with advanced low-tech. Im going to try and avoid using any sort of augs, and biocells of course. Since this viking was rigged with lght aug I may use it at some point?

by the way:

realistic: shoots in the head or torso

hard: cant hit me for the sake of it, and when it does its all over the place, legs, arms..

i dont think realistic is easy

Realistic is easier to kill... lol.
I've had times where i could kill with one pistol shot to the feet.

I seem to get one hit kills with ck since start on "hard". I found interesting bug though, that ive not seen before. I started new game while in existing game. Now i have all items I had in previous game, and the usual startup gear. Two riot prods, two pistols, etc Weird stuff

Started new game because I accidentally flipped the light aug on and off, got it set comfortably for augs
