If you didn't know it already, it suxorz. Multi-load levels should've gone out with cassette tapes.

Get out of boat into dock, talk to Paul, walk through a few re-constructed routes to get to Liberty Island itself.
*LOAD TIME*
Start new map outside UNATCO HQ. If you go to where you normally start, and then go the opposite direction of the medbot through the metal crates...
*LOAD TIME*
Or if you go to where the merc. thug with the crossbow is, then go through the metal crates...
*LOAD TIME*

...basically, Liberty Island/Unatco HQ is now... 6, mabye even 7 independant maps. Every time you switch between them, you're sat on a loadscreen for about 6 seconds. I got so pissed off with it, that I haven't continued past that point.

You can't manually enter keypad codes.
You can't manually enter computer logins/passwords. *understandable*
The button layout makes little/no sense, to the point where I had to mash buttons just to find the INVENTORY. ¬_¬

I was considering trying out the PS2 version.

I tried the PS2 version on an emulator a couple of years ago. The only good thing about it were the more detailed models and realistic animations of NPCs.

It's cheap at least :$

True. That, and at least its' death animations can't be drawn in ASCII.

Playing PS2 version again.

- can seemingly carry every melee weapon at once.
- aug cannisters/upgrades don't use inventory slots.
- can carry near infinite supply of "other useless shit" (cigs, candy bar, wine etc.)
- can only carry 4 proper guns. (PS20 comes under the "other useless shit" slot, and Pepper Gun goes under melee slot)
- Location text cannot spell "hangar" properly.

...wat.

I sort of liked not having to manually type in logins and codes. Just find the datacube and you're set.

I honestly think typing codes/passwords is part of what made Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution such innovative games. But I do agree, putting login/passes using standard control pads = NO

I agree that typing out logins makes the game more realistic but it does slow down the game. Also, it kind of forces you to remember the logins. I remember more DX and TNM logins than my real personal ones!

They get saved in your notes menu. With a few exceptions, iirc (those found on emails).
