Description
With this mutator you can change the gamemode of your server while you are ingame. You type a command, and you can switch from Advanced Team Deathmatch, to DeathMatch and after that to StarGate if you desire.
Installation
Place MMGameChanger100.u in your System folder, and then go to your DeusEx.ini and you look for "[DeusEx.DeusExGameEngine]".
Add this under that part:
- Code: Select all
ServerActors=MMGameChanger100.GameMutator
Usage
Before you can use this mutator, you must log in as admin.
Then, when ingame, type the following:
- Code: Select all
Mutate Game.Change [New GameMode]
If we want to go to DeathMatch, we do the following:
- Code: Select all
Mutate Game.Change DXMTL152b1.MTLDeathMatch
It is very important that you add the mod in the command aswell! In this case it is DXMTL152b1.
Bugs
There is 1 small bug. If you switch from a DXMTL152b1 based gamemode (For example, StarGate, CRDBugFix, miniMTL) to a Deus Ex based gamemode (The old CTF gamemode, and probably some others), your server will crash, because of security that has been build into DXMTL152b1. The crash does not always happen, but I advise you simply do not change your server game mode to any gamemode besides those that are based on DXMTL152b1.
