Description:
The Gauss Gun is a weapon that shoots gauss waves at an opponent. More info below:

The gauss gun uses skill 'Heavy'.

It also has a working scope that changes colors when you're not zoomed in but looking around. The gauss wave is tad slow, slower than a rocket but accurate. ADS does not defend against this, suprisingly (even though the projectile class extends Rocket)

The main ammo it uses is Plasma Clips which you can reload via ammocrate.

Well, not much more I can say, other than it's a fun weapon for MP and I recommend even diehard auggers or 0 auggers to try it at least once Smile

Version 1.2:

*New icons, both inventory and belt, from SergeantKelly
*New scope texture, flickers blue
*New ammo class
*Fixed Projectile Damage to Burned so only EmpShield can protect you from it, not ADS like in the last release

Installation:
Put the .U in your system folder, and go to your DeusEx.ini. Find the lines with "EditPackages". Add this line: EditPackages=GaussGun.

To use in a server, find the line of ServerPackages or ServerActors in DeusEx.ini and add this line: ServerPackages=GaussGun

Readme is included.

Use:
Free for use in mods, maps, and anything else. At least provide some form of contact to either me or [A] (for example, posting on our forums.)

Syntax:
For summoning the Gauss gun:
summon gaussgun.weapongaussgun.

For summoning the ammo:
summon gaussgun.ammogauss

For summoning the projectile:
summon gaussgun.gausswave

Stuff like this makes me hate the fact that I'm forced to play on very low quality. It probably wont look anywhere near as good as on the screens for me...

Well, power supply fucked up on my previous comp (which was built mid-2003) and killed most parts, I used some old parts from the comp before that one (which i got in 1998) together with some parts of the 2003 comp, but it's heavily bottlenecked by the 1998 comp parts, causing the comp to be very crap. On top of that, regardless from the extra fans the temperature is about 65 degrees Celsius while idling. I don't have any money either, so I'm forced to play with this system at the moment.

Well, it ain't that bad if i play older games which I loved in the past, miss games like Oblivion however.

Pentium 3 450MHz, 129Mb RAM.

That just super-whipped anyone's "my PC sucks" excuses!!
