[PATCH] CRDMBugFix1b9

The name looks a lot like the other CRD BugFix, but this one is different!

This mod is a mutator, that stops cheaters from using custom console's. It either kicks them, or bans them. If it bans them, you can choose to range ban them.

There is a readme included with all instructions. Shouldn't be hard.

I advise everyone to install this!






If anyone could check: It should be possible to run this mod in combination with CRDBugFix (The non-mutator version). Please post it here if that is possible.

Ok! So, is this anything to do with CRD? Like, does it operate with CRD/Require it/over-write it?

Me? Yes. You can hack the mod to make it last longer, before you get kicked (Then it takes 10 seconds, max), but it most of the time kicks you in 0.2 seconds.

I think what everyone is saying, do we use this with CRD, or is this CRD just added more to stop custom console hacks? I'm sure its probably to use 'with' CRD.

This one. It may sound weird, but this one is just a small mutator, but is protective. Seeing that LionHeart isn't around anymore, we don't need a big mod anymore. And CRDBugFix (So not this mod, but the original one), doesn't fully support Nephthys (Just like AlrightyGame or miniMTL!), I advise you to use this, to get full protection. Some small cheats, aren't fixed, yet, but the anti-console hack is the most important. Even though CRDBugFix offers 'fun' stuff such as mute, and a new scoreboard, I still advise to use this one, because CRDBugFix has bugs. Major ones, actually.

Enabled. I will look into those things for the next version. It will kick you for using such hacks, and it will check them randomly.

Uploaded new version. Fixes a small bug, and kicks cheaters using reloadcount, shottime or maxfrobdistance.

Please wait before installing this. I might have found a bug, that didn't appear before (Always happen to me, test it --> No problems. Release it --> Problems show up)

Uploaded new, fixed, version. At least, I think it's fixed. The mod did exactly what it needed to do, it checked if reloadcount wasn't being edited. The problem was, it did this for all weapons, and if you fire a weapon, the reloadcount changes, and then you get kicked. It now only checks for the 3 grenade's. I tested it, and someone else did aswell, no errors, but you never know...

Figured out another bug. When you use 20mm, you get kicked for using shottime, seeing that your shottime gets changed when using 20mm.
EDIT: I will fix this later, first I need to help my mother, she just has some sort of accident, risking to have 2 broken fingers and stuff.

What a great start for a mod eh. Well, fixed the bug with 20mm & rocket WP aswell.

4 releases in 2 days... beat that!

Does it support non-standard weapons? (and, if they require changing ammo, too).

Yes. Unless if the weapons change their own shottime. Which happens with RocketWP & Ammo20MM.

Is there a way to prevent it checking for this? I hope so, because I would like to use this on the [FGS] MainMan's City server.

And this bugfix is just temporary anyways, untill I have made a new mod that I am planning on.

Have you tested this with things like Telnet?

Or the new mod which you are working on, will you be checking it alongside things such as Telnet?

Please mind: In combination with MMAdvBan this will bug up, ending to ban all players (It does a range ban of all IP's as soon as MMAdvBan kicks someone who is banned through it) I will release a fix later this day =/

That's the original CRD, not the mutator one (This is the mutator version of CRD)
