There's no doubt that sometime in the future the PS3 is going to a powerhaus. Just at the moment, its only superiority is on paper, in reality it has poor games that run just as poor.

I was looking around a few days ago, and came across a program that let you stream PC games through LAN to your PS3. They were talking about confusing your friends by playing Halo 2 on your PS3, anyone here done this? Or is it BS?

I saw something LIKE that on Engadget a while ago, I'm not sure it supported games though.

I'm not even sure it was PC -> PS3 instead of the other way around.

I glazed over it. I'll have a dig in a bit.

It doesn't stream the game per se, the PC does all the work and the PS3 spits out the audio\video.

In other words its VNC

I'll get the PC Version however. I really cannot wait for that game. LOVED the original.

PS3 Version, and the PS2 Version both have some exclusive content unlike the PC and Xbox 360 versions, however, the PC Version is moddable, which is good =O

I wouldn't call it a GTA clone anymore.

Free Roaming games are practically a sub-genre now. It made sense to name them GTA Clones back in the day because they tried and failed to be the original GTA. Now they are taking a small part of the GTA recipe, and making good-to-brilliant games out of them.

Scarface was a pretty damn good "GTA Clone", The Godfather also, and the original Mercenaries.

Mercs was referred to as military GTA. Yes. Nothing alike... The Godfather was shit - disgrace to the films. Saints Row was OK at best, but got boring very fast and couldn't hold a candle to GTA.

If you're not playing Half Life 2 for the story and the set pieces then you are not going to get anything out of One and Two.

One adds Zombines and Two gives you Hunters and a new car.

I am playing it for the story. But i just don't wish to be playing through a newer game, with the same Story-line idea, and the same weaponry, though things like the Gravity gun obviously are keep-sakes.

Also, i thought the people who got *Eaten* by the Crabs were Zombies? Seeming as that is what your squad reffers to them as =/

And yes, that's essentially what the Episodes are, updates to HL2 that looks slightly more pretty and have the aforementioned differences.

Scarface the game was only good if you saw the movie / are a big fan of the movie.

In which case, I am and it's a pretty good game, imho.

TBH, the half-life 2 series isn't all about gameplay - the 'commentary' feature that walks you through the aspects of graphic details throughout the game really make you realise that half-life 2 is still a big graphics contender today, despite its age against some of the latest games.
