[Wasted]

It's pretty intense. Haven't even tried multiplayer yet, in which there are 32 players per game.

Basically, I just killed this thing:

The guy playing this is on either Medium or Easy, so he completed the second fight pretty quick. Its a lot harder on veteran. Although I killed the badass in the first video quicker than he did anyway.

Not the point. I like the game cause of the graphics, the way all the enemy Helghast say different things + act differently and because the storyline is pretty intense. I had KillZone (1) as well and this serves as a good sequel.

Basically, mental planet called Helghan break all peace and attack Vekta, your planet. You're all pretty much human methinks.

The leader of the helghast, Visari, is a dictator figure who is all like "we've been supressed for so long, now we will be great again". He's basically Hitler.

So after you drive them away in the first game, you then take the fight to them on Helghan, because they've stolen away nuclear warheads. You go in and batter em until you can get to the leader.

Obviously I haven't completed it yet so I don't know what happens.

It's a pretty good game.

Got a few major flaws, however.

The biggest is the AI, it is no better than Killzone 1; except their only tactic is to throw a frag.
When was the last time you see an enemy with no self-preservation skills? Timesplitters 2, anyone?

I'm not a fan of the aiming, either. It starts slow and then dashes, like it has momentum. Not a killer of the experience but cannot adjust.

I've grown accustomed to that aiming - its very different to DX but games like Farcry 2 have it as well.

I think the AIs so far have been great. I've completed nearly half of the game now methinks.

That's REALLY odd because I found them to be just plain idiotic (and this is on Veteran). I mean, if you sprint up to someone wielding an RPG, you expect them to bring out a sidearm for close combat. Nope. Just fired at point-blank range.

However, this reminds me A LOT of PC shooters (which is a great thing).

Maybe the RPG point is true. But dey r special.

If you're shooting out a window, and some crazy man comes up behind you, he'll just whip out a knife and slice you up. Whereas in some games they'll just chill, or shoot and miss.

Also I like the way you die, thats pretty epic.

I'm currently at the point where your convoy is ambushed and you have to crawl through the pipe. The trouble is my TV makes everything darker when in dark and lighter when in light; so I can see sweet bugger-all.

Once you get through the tunnel inquisitor, you kill some badboiz, climb some ladders, and you can aaqquire a flamethrower. Its fuckin awesome.

Awesome, great graphics, but a little pointless.

The level is pretty hard on you in terms of ammo now if you choose to use it; but definitely try it out.

I used it and then couldn't be arsed to go back and get my last gun, so I had to slice some wannabe germans up with me knife.
