Max Payne isn't that good, the game wouldn't be fun without bullet time.
Max Payne: The Fall of Max Payne is a must play, however.

DX2 is as active as any singleplayer with no multiplayer, that sucked compared to the first game.

I think it's the most abundant trade-in game ever.

I found it quite easy with Knights of the round table and stuff xD +Save crystal deployed towards end of crater means you can't really screw up =/

Never finished 8 though, can't do the stupid castle! (Mainly cause' I only made 3 out of 6 or whatever charecters good and you have to use all 6 of them =/)

There is no limit, because the series is good quality ignoring 3.

I hope COD never dies and it only gets better.

So, in that way, 5 is poor quality too.

Honestly, 5 is just CoD 3 ported to a new engine...

Don't blame Infinity Ward, it's not like they have any say in who shares Activision's property.

Infinity Ward already distanced themselves from 3 and World at War, thats why they're making their own series while Treyarch butcher WWII some more.

The recurring characters (family names, Price etc) from 1, 2 and MW are not in 3 and I'm sure they're not in WaW, those are key to the formula.
WaW is gameplay MAY seem good because it's on Proprietary, the story is mediocre bullshit!

It's like I'm really playing Army of Two!!! :-s

Fuck Activision, Infinity Ward should just start another FPS series after CoD: MW2. Tension is rising with two brands.

FIFA 2009 is the first soccer game that I actually like. I play as Tottenham, and always lose like 1-5 against Liverpool or Man City. Still, it's addicting and very awesome.

the story is mediocre bullshit

Sorry, I disagree. During the Russian campaign in Berlin, there was a part that the commissar would yell over the megaphone, "Citizens of Berlin! A ring of steel surrounds your wretched city!" and then he went on about abandoning posts, abandoning homes, abandoning hope.... It sent shivers down my spine when you stop for a minute and think what crimes were committed at the heart of the German empire. Total retribution...

Otherwise, the Japanese portion made no sense and I didn't care about it.

Yes... tell them too lol.

It's most likely just me, but I'm sick of all these fucking shit WW2 games. How many more goddamn recreations of a World War do we need? People want to forget it AND THEN THEY MAKE FUCKEN GAMES TO MONETIZE ON IT. Great!

I've only ever bought and kept one game based off a World War. And that is Battlefield 1942, it has it's flaws but overall, I don't mind it. I will never buy a Call of Duty game (past CoD3), I can't see how you can make a game that repeats itself so popular?

Why don't they just work on making virtual reality so people can reenact the fucken war in real time. With a twist: YOU GET TO SHOOT HITLER. WOULD THIS APPEASE YOU? It would for me tbh, I'd buy a game where I could that... but then, that's why I buy FPS games... to shoot people. Who cares if it's fucken Hitler or not.

I think you're a little too hung up on numbers, popularity and all manner of bollocks that doesn't actually matter, Psychotic. Just because a game is popular doesn't mean its bad. It's a solid game that builds year on year with new mechanics. It's not flawless but it's one of the best FPS' of our time. The jump from COD2 to COD4 was massive and I look forward to MW2. Infinity Ward know what they're doing.

That's true to a certain extent. In a way the games in the mainstream have the highest quality and production values but conversly they are also advertised to an extreme and appear on consoles which possess a place in the household.

I mean this gen has been almost criminal for unoriginal and dry ideas (methinks we're due for a crash), and that's why Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony (sort of) have drawn their attention to the 'Indies' for security.

Then again you can always have mods which are world-class (The Nameless Mod pour exemple) and will NEVER have a place in the hierarchy of mainstream interest.
