Armour like most of the artstyle is awful in this game but there's some good ones (especially Witch Doctor's!)

Eh, most of that armour looks weird, disappointing to be honest. I hope the weapons aren't that bad.

Fave Barbarian: T4, T10, T13. T16 is just like "LOL GET PAST ME MOTHERFUCKERS!".
Fave Witch Doctor: T7, T8, T11, T12, T13, T15, T16. Some pretty mean sets there.
Fave Monk: T14 - T16. Most of these just suck.

Fave Wizard: T15 and T16.
Fave Demon Hunter: T9 and T16.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to armour, to be honest. I think most games fail at wizard gear but I am largely a big fan of the traditional robes (which is why I love the robes in Skyrim so much - they're basic, and it works).

Other than that, they're just plain disappointing overall, for me.

I'm not surprised, though. Before I stopped playing, Tier and Season gear for World of Warcraft was just plain crap. The best armour that game ever had was during Classic and BC periods, as far as I'm concerned, so it's not surprising most of Blizzard's stuff for Diablo isn't much better.

I feel it's just so... uninspired.

Barb is just great.
Witch Doctor's are fantastic and fabulous.
Monk has a wide wardrobe but most of them fit into Asian soldier uniforms, but he's a monk...
Wizard male will look hilariously bad.
I think the minimalist Demon Hunter ones are the best, don't like the glowing eyes stuff.

Warcraft 3/World of Warcraft art style really does not fit Diablo, even if it has a touch of realism.

I hope the weapons aren't that bad.

The weapons are worse, especially those found at level 60-61 in Inferno difficulty. Burning Crusade-esqe.

Noooooooooo!

Argh, damn it. I love me some good weapons. The two things I ask of any game with melee combat is the ability to dual-wield and to have some goddamn epic-looking weapons. Without these two, the game becomes epic disappointing for me.

I think Blizzard's artists have been designing for Warcraft for too long.

It's weird because even if some artists are shared, the design of Zerg, Terran and Protoss aethestics (with exceptions of stuff like the Colossi) in StarCraft 2 are very great. Argumentively including redesigns for characters such as Kerrigan.

One thing I don't like about Diablo III is the cutscenes. Many of the ones I've seen were just bad quality in comparison to many other cinematics Blizzard's done previously.

Still don't know what you're talking about, what micro transactions?, does not compute.

Are you talking about the Real Money Auction House?, you do realise we used external (risky) websites for D2 right? This cuts out the middle man. The only downside I see to this system is that both Blizzard and PayPal take a cut.

New series, background on the 5 (canon gender) player characters. As far as I know this is the only one so far:

I'm slightly on the fence a bit.

The way I play most RPGs is I try every class for a few hours or so then choose from there what I like.

Since I tend to always choose melee classes now, one of them will be my main and I'm thinking of either a Witch Doctor or Wizard to go alongside it. Don't quote me on this though, I'm really indecisive when it comes to rpgs.

The banner thing is pretty cool. Not enough options, nor enough decent Demon Hunter wallpapers, however.

Can't say I'm a fan of the webcam shots, though. They just look very tacky.

I don't like it when games have multiple classes that I find intriguing.

It always ends up like how it did on World of Warcraft: I start making alts but I never get them to the level cap.

Or like Titan Quest: Make loads of builds, end up only using like 3 of them (granted, those 3 were pretty damn kick-ass). Same with NWN and NWN2, lol.

Yes, I suffer from this too. I make a character of each type before I start the game, most of the time I don't play a second run too haha.
