Things I don't like in GTA IV so far (I haven't yet completed a single mission!)
1. Car handling. As usually, game devs work so hard so they don't have time to drive a real car (or are they koreans and prefer bikes?) Breaks hardly work, and sometimes they work as a handbrake making the car skid. I think there's still some progress compared to GTA: SA, though... The cars don't skid on every turn, that's honorable
2. Viewing while driving. When I played GTA SA on PC, I used close behind view and often lifted the camera a bit higher to see more road, than car. In GTA IV it's a no-go, camera control is complicated and returns back to initial state too early, while the car takes half of the screen, and in order to avoid constant crashes I have to switch to the bonnet-view.
I know GTA ain't a car sim, but I'm not asking much.
3. I can't turn "run every time" in settings.
4. From time to time there's a FPS lag. I still gotta check global settings of the console though (maybe I turned something on, that I shouldn't have).
5. I know blurring is the most overused effect in the modern game engines, but why not let the players control the amount of it..?
