Holy fucking shit, just played the demo. It has the best atmosphere and look I have EVER seen, it completely wipes the floor with DX and the other System Shock games with even this 20 mins of gameplay. I litterally feel like I've been unwillingly forced and suffered years of depression from how the city how decayed even though I just happened to arrive in a unfortunate plane crash.

I will get it when it comes out, but I refuse to play it alone, lmao.

Bad enough when I tried playing Condemned in the dark, and on Gears of War when the second beserker appears it made me jump so badly I burst into tears

LOL Gears of War and Condemned are not scary. Scariest game i ever played was Resi 3, Nemesis still scares me

G.o.W isn't scary no, but the bezerkers freak me out, and I had NO idea one appeared in the conservatory thing as there was no cut-scene, no music and I had my back turned to where it came from so it almost made me wee myself lol

Condemned is just.. not a pleasant game to play. I don't like the crazy druggies..

The only truly scary game for me is any Thief game. Very eerie 1600s feel always makes me shit bricks.

Just read the plot on BioShock, I'm not like most people so I don't really get it nor does it impress me, I still think DX's plot is far more powerful and elaborate.

And lol at this about Gatherers:

The BioShock team designed these characters in order to draw out an emotional response from the player, who would face an ethical decision on whether or not to kill little girls to obtain much-needed resources.

I would kill them and wouldn't hesitate a moment to.

It's AS-GOOD as Deus Ex. Storyline is fantastic especially around the time you can become a big daddy\fool them into thinking you are a little sister.
