Regarding his technical capabilities, he thought lighting was impossible in MC not too long ago. The current standard lighting in the game is actually someone else's mod that he incorporated.

Still Notch is a famous gamedeveloper. Most of those who'll read his blog will think he's totally right and that's an huge damage for that company. If Euclideon will come up with proofs that it works I believe they will sue Majong

A lot of you are asking if we can release real-time demos now. I'm afraid we can't give away all our secrets at this point in time, it would be very bad for business.
We never intended for our little video to go as big as it did, but now that it has we realise that you all want to see something soon, so well be bringing in more staff here and working harder, faster and smarter and we'll try and get you a really good explorable real-time demo as soon as possible.
