Yeah no probs. I dunno what price it'll be when it comes out, but its supposed to be coming out in a fortnight I think.

Could you pre-order Battletoads for me?

Pre-ordering doesn't cost owt.

And I hate FFXII so far. The graphics seem to be worse than X, and that fucking old man narrating with the stupid picture of the book pisses me off. I've not gotten very far, but I'm not impressed : (

This is the first time FF has let me down!

I thought the graphics better, there's more cutscenes in FFXII from what I saw. Battling takes some getting used to, but it becomes fairly fluent/seamless later on. Give it a chance!

(it gets shit hard later on though :()

Demon walls?

Yeah, you only have to face one though, still annoying though.

Then then boss after that is hard...and even more so after that.

Garuda was shit hard too...lol.

Nearly lvl 20 on everyone and I found all the bosses there hard.

Those Flan yokes are back too, there's still plenty of new monsters though.

You get that battle celebration at the end of every boss fight though, it's no longer after every fight.

Yeh I thought the lack of time wasting battle celebrations and music each fight was so satisfying, hated them to biDUNDUNDUN-DUNNNDUNDUNDUN-DUNDUNDUNNNNN! *You found 3 gil!*.

I'm not being sarcastic!, I hate it when that stupid battle fare music appears from the first 10 games to biDUNDUNDUN-DUNNNDUNDUNDUN-DUNDUNDUNNNNN! *You found a fire ring...from a wolf!*

But - You lose the cool battle music :(

I must admit though - what you say is true. The post battle reports for the old games were like "AGGGHHH!!! I don't give a F*K if I won 0 gil and 0 EXP for killing a Cactuar! JUST LET ME CONTINUE THE F*KING GAME!!!"

No, they're bosses. As I remember rightly, they're timed battles, where if you don't kill the monster in about 2 minutes, you get crushed, and die. Game Over.

If that's the menu screen then that shows you have one mist, if the actual bar is glowing say in battle or just when you're walking around that means you have enough to use one of those mists.

I wondered if that was it. Seemed odd that it happened just after I learned that quickening for that weird fire horse thing. Thanks :D

Ah, but - in the first Final Fantasy, there was no interaction between the party, as you could pick any party you liked, from 6 classes. (IE: You could have 4 thieves, or 4 White Mages, or 3 Red Mages and a Monk, or anything)

Thus, the party itself isn't reflected on, but instead their actions, and the party barely show at all in the ending! :D

Edit: I got a 125 chain! :DDDDD

First part of the Sandsea, if you fight those little midgets on the huge circle platforms that seem to fill the place, you can get a monster streak. Also, there's a rare mark kicking about somewhere to the west.

I also managed to get a 92-chain against the Imperial army in their airship, but lost that when my character saw fit to use its Gambits to kill one of their dogs, breaking the chain... X_X

Get a 50-chain for an additional part in your Sky Pirate den.

I've got the one for killing 500 monsters (Basch), taking 50000 steps(Chocobo, who seems to be eating the bed!), casting 200 spells(Fran), getting a 50-chain(Montblanc), and using Attack 300 times(Balthier).
