I've heard friend's joyous rant about this game for several weeks, wonder what I hear when hes actually played it. The thread doesnt have much good to say about it, I see.

I uninstalled it on Sunday because it kept annoying the shit out of me. Absolutely no redeeming factor in the game at all that isn't yourself trying to make it fun.

It's not a GREAT game, but it's really fun imo.

And to be honest, that's all I really expect from a game


It's not something I can play for hours straight, and I've played quite a bit so far but still haven't made it into town (story isnt that interesting to me) but it's really satisfying cutting a thug's both arms off and finish him off by chopping his head off.

Or stand at a distance when low on health and throw everything in your inventory at him (throwing seems to not damage weapons either, WIN!)

Only thing that REALLY annoyed me was the looooong load times, which was fixed by setting a .log file to read only... Sup with that

Any game can be fun but it doesn't mean it is remotely a good game at all. Lazy games shouldn't be praised for the fun you make yourself.

e.g., I had fun playing Limbo of the Lost for how horrible it is.

Yeah that's what I meant, it's not a great or even good game. I don't think it's fair to call it lazy though, it was in development for quite some time. It just didn't work out as was planned I suppose.
