Shit, I was hoping that wasn't where the infra red scope was, I passed it a while ago but didn't want to deactivate it coz I knew I'd get piled by Regenerators if I did.

On side note, I just got killed by the second Iron Maiden (The last time I played at least.) It didn't so much as kill me as..walk into Ashley after I launched a mine at it.

Play through without buying anything until you get the Chicago Typewriter, once you do, acquiring money and things will become much easier and you will get enough to unlock all the other stuff..

Could anyone point out the differences between PAL and North American version? (I have the North American version and want to know what I'm missing out on)

Well, since I saved the round 2 go again? thing, I loaded it up and bought a CT AND an IRL, and a matilda, and I still had 3000 something left. WOOT!

Just passed the cutscene where Ada shoots Saddler with the TMP.

IMO "It" was a total wuss. A few shotgun blasts and he ran away, he spent most of his time in the vents. I killed him no problem. I got the exclusive Striker upgrade to battle him, I started off with 100 shells and ended with about 52.

Krauser gave me a little bit of trouble, but not much. When he grew the wing out of his arm, I found him much easier, as when he charged at you all you had to do was shoot his legs and he fell over.

I GOT THE TYPEWRITER, THE INF ROCKET LAUNCHER AND LEON'S MAFIA COSTUME!

Leon does a cool pose when you try to reload the typewriter under that costume. Ashley is actually useful for once in her metal costume.

You'll have to play through the game on Professional and rack up 1,000,00 0 (That means very little item buying) and then play through with the Chicago Typewriter the second round if you want to use the gun all the way through.

I was going to make a new topic for this, but I thought it might get put into this one so I'll just put it here.

Resident Evil 4 Movie/Game references.

It is believed the Matilda gun is such named after the character in the film "Leon", she wields a gun resembling the Matilda in the movie.

Salazar's right-hand man bodyguard Verdugo looks like a mix between an Alien and a Predator.

The Killer7, named after Capcom's game.

The Regenerators resemble enemies from the game Killer7.

The Handcannon is what Vincent Vega called the Magnum in the film "Pulp Fiction".

The Shutter Control room corridors resembled a scene from Alien 3.

The Handcannon was Barry Burton's gun in one of the other Resident Evil games, and the Matilda was a gun Leon acquired in RE2.

The "Hasta la lluego" line Leon uses before he fights Chief Mendez resembles Arnies famous one-liner in Terminator 2.

And I could have sworn I heard the name "Ramon Salazar" on an advert for 24.

JJ, the Gatling gun guy, looks like the bloke with the Chain Gun in Predator.

While Krauser looks like Arnie in Predator.

The El Gigante is almost identical to LOTR's troll.

And the Garrador looks like a distant relative of Wolverines, although this is a pretty minor one.

• The Iron Maiden refers to the machine Iron Maiden, not the band
• Mr. Salvador X (the giant dual chainsaw on waterworld stage guy) looks identical to Etrifico in Larisson, without the bag on.
• The Bella Sisters are named after the curse in Spain, the Bella Sisters Plague, they believe these sisters come after you to chainsaw you if you disturb them, because once in ancient spain, three sisters came and chainsawed a whole village, leaving no survivors.
• The Plagas Exposed B (the spider like plagas after you shoot someone in the head) resemble a difference between a Xenomorph and a spider.

[Hints and Glitches]

• In the cemetary level, the first time you visit it, shoot the bell twice, Ganados should appear, shoot them all and go in the middle of the cemetery. Look up for some kind of eye-shaped, coffee-colored animated eye.
• After you defeat the Verdugo, wait 3 minutes before you get on the elevator. Look up and something should follow you around.
• Sometimes in a 2nd or 3rd round, shooting Villager ganados, when they die some will say "Lord... saddler."
• Ada is much sexier and hotter in RE4 than in RE2, simply because she was a stupid ass in RE2.
• The Chicago Typewriter, if you go under it with Leon Mafia Costume, and you have it, equip it and reload. Leon will adjust his hat. Do this three more times. The third time, he will strike a pose. Also, notice his pose in the items menu. Oh, and if you get the typewriter without his special costume, it doesn't have a drum on it, just a normal clip, big whoop.
• There are several spelling and grammar mistakes in the game.
• In the credits, look for the ending. "This game is protected under the laws of Racoon City Police department. Reproduction of this game will result in a STARS member being deployed, and then some" or somewhat.
• In the village, you can see the castle from far away, but you can't shoot it.

24 hour difference double post.

Doing it in Pro, it's friggen crazy. About 54% of all the enemies' attacks are one hit kill. I even used Gameshark and I could STILL die. It's crazy, but I'm up to the part where Mike interferes and and is a dumbass. It takes like 6 hours for him just to blow up a damn place.

Oh, btw, Iron Maidens have a hella lot more leeches than they do in Normal. And enemies won't die as easily. And shots from any kind of gun (JJ's minigun, Krauser's TMP etc) has a one shot kill.

Krauser pisses me off, especially during the knife fight with cutscenes. I always die in those >_> and it's so stupid to see the death scene where Leon gets sliced or jabbed by Krauser >_>

Kay, I finished professional, got the PRL 142, sold all my guns and stuff. I just found this out: By giving excluse upgrades to these guns, you can unlock special effects:

• Handgun - 5x chance of critical headshot
• Punisher - bust a hole through 5 enemies instead of 2
• Shotgun - same power in all distances, I can snipe with it now!
• Mine Thrower - homing mines, homes to the nearest enemie when shot

It spreads as normal guns would, but you could shoot a guy from 25 yards and still kill him!

Normal shotgun. the pellets do not spread apart once shot, they spread and then they keep moving in one direction instead of spreading away from each other.

I like the Strikers Exclusive ability it means you have to reload never again unless you have a load of shells
