I have realised what is missing in my life.

Postby Siva » Thu Jul 12, 07 9:02 pm

I was never a bored child when I had them with me. They'd make their retarded sounds and jump out to aid me, and we'd laugh as we made our way across the regions, looking far and wide, for the next challenge, or the next obstacle.

I'm going to reclaim the DS from my mum and buy Pokemon Diamond Tomorrow. NO FUCKING EXCEPTIONS.

Unless anyone here knows an emulator that supports WiFi.

Honestly, nothing wrong with playing Pokemon haha, its a ace RPG.

Watching the sub-par anime, however...

Anime is good in small portions, which doesn't feature chibi crap or too much mechs.

However a anime about mechs eradicating furries is completely win.

It's ok when you're young, but when you get older it gets majorly sad.

Pokemon are the kind of pets you emotionally attach to. I remember jumping around the room when I got all Pokemon on Ruby (including Deoxys, Mew and Celebi).
A CNN reporter, while interviewing a Marine Sniper, asked. "What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied, "Recoil."

Why?, its just a form of animation.

Have you ever heard of Berzerk?, Welcome to the N.H.K? Berserk noted for being one of the most imfamously sick and twisted gore obsessed and general non-stereotypical anime.

Welcome to the N.H.K being a anime that stereotypes to anime fans/otaku.

Also, Death Note episodes 36-37 for the almighty lol, its a perfect example of what I like to watch:

Yeah, but it doesn't have a name like Squirtle.

You leave Digimon out of this, Digimon was a very good anime for the first 2 seasons.

Do you have the version of VBA that allows you to play other people over LAN like it was through a link cable?

Teh Link wrote:VBALink With A Router
(Link over internet)

Written by Matty (published with permission)

As many of you are aware, there is a new version of VBALink ( v 1.8 ) out that supports online wireless multiplayer.

Well many of you were having troubles with connecting, as you were behind a router, so when you start the Server you are given a generic internal IP such as 192.168.0.2 etc.

Well, earlier today I was experimenting and the answer is quite obvious, so for all those wondering then you will need administrator access to your router, but the procedure is as follows (for Netgear routers, I don't know if this is the same for other brands but I would imagine the basic routine is):

VBA Link Emu Help

1. Set up a Static IP address for your computer. You will have to know your MAC address for this, if you don't know how to find this out refer to the end of this post. Something in the internal range the router allows, such as 192.168.0.3.
2. Set up a new Service whereby Port 5378 (this is the start and finish port) has TCP forwarded.
3. Set up a new Rule whereby the Service you just set up is forwarded to to the Static IP you just set up as the LAN Server, where the WAN users = Any and Action = Allow Always.
4. Go to www.whatismyip.com to find out the IP of your router.
5. Open VBALink, go to the Link settings and start the Server. It will still say that the server IP is 192.168.0.3, but if you give your router IP address to your friend and they put that in the Client Server-address-entry box, all the traffic will be forwarded to your computer.

The result is voila, you are connected.

To find out your MAC address in Windows XP, go to the Start Menu and press Run. Type:
cmd /k ipconfig /all

Your MAC address is the one that says "Physical address", it will be in the form ##-##-##-##-##-## where # denotes any alphanumeric character.

If anybody wants more information on how to do this, then post here stating what router you have.

Please note - if you have dialup or a direct broadband connection (i.e. through a modem) you do not need to do all this.
