Whoopty-frickin'-doo! Is anyone at all anticipated for this title, I know I'm not. Uninspired concept, blatent mod of CSS, releasing it as a game for full price is just ridiculous.
Stupid plot. You journey into a town, with your fully armed squad why not?! Not knowing that the entire town are zombies that run around like paraplegics on acid. You find out you are immune, no reason given. Now you must get from point A to point B (wherever that is) and survive. Not convinced it's a bad mod yet? There's more....
The most annoying part of this is they do not give credit to the Source Engine creators, nor do they state "this is modded from Counter Strike", instead they keep the same animations, some of the same guns and even the sounds from Counter Strike. They could have tried a little harder to make it more distinguished.
However, I would buy this game but I don't want to waste money on a two-bit title. On the other hand the gameplay is fun and anyone who enjoyed RE4 or Sven Co-op should check it out because it does have that element to it. Two other thing I am impressed with are the zombies; kind of uninspired but good nonetheless and the healing system and NEW animations.

For original trailer, note the SAME SOUND for footsteps used in Counter Strike:

Yes, I am aware but still it is a rip off of their own creation. They should make each one unique, even if the engine is the same.

Hold on a fucking minute.
Isn't every FPS about getting from point A to B to survive?
How does that make it bad.

Because each FPS has a purpose. In the interview all they said was "you have to get from point A to point B and get out of the city". Really inspirational.

Yeah, but essentially, it is all Point A to Point B. I play a shootan gaem for shootan, not for delicious plot.

But each FPS game has a twist and turn, whereas this is just a mindless cliche.

Well really, any game is point A to B, only DX and most other better games hold quite abit of inovation
You can just go from point A to B, and most of the time you're introduced to a C and a D you can do o the way, maybe you can bump into a E to hack into or rarely a F to find another way to point B.

Don't bother with Miguel, I don't think saving him does any good.

It's not about the player! It's about their back story. They are immune (no plausible reason), they are getting from point A to point B.
Forgot to mention, they still have that same damn white car from Half Life 2 and Counter Strike!
