They're blind, and rely on super sonic relay (?), throw grenades as distractions and break the planks from afar with the pistol to buy time, you should be invincible when you're on the ladders as they cant reach.

You need to activate 2 pumps for the control.
Travel through the bottom door blocked by planks. The rest is easy.
Then blow away the sucker after doing both, by heading back to the control room.
