That was an incredibly stupid move for VALVe. Like they need the money bad anyway, with the raging success of Steam. But Protocol had a good point.


Btw, how'd The Orange Box do in sales?

Even though they are successful doesn't mean they don't have targets or have given up the will to make money. If it was like that, they may aswell close down now.

Also, $1 million really is not that much to Apple.

Apple aren't exactly a poor company. They've paid devs in the past to bring games to their platform, so why should valve with one of the top selling FPS's of all time be any different.

Business is business.
