Like COD2\COD4? Like Steam? Read this.

If you buy either of the two above games like I did, and Punkbuster kicks you for "Unknown Windows API functions", don't just join a non PB server, disable the Steam Community overlay.
View > Settings > In-game (tab) > uncheck the community overlay checkbox
Should fix it.
Just a heads up.

Because unlike COD4 it's just a boring FPS - COD4 has ranks etc.

I didn't acknowledge COD3 because it is a console game.

lol, a little bias? COD 3 and the...I guess expansion to COD 2 are the only ones I've played so far. I haven't bothered getting COD 4 because the games are remarkably short.
I don't like Steam...Never tried it though, so I guess I can't say anything
