Xbox Live issues.

I have recently had issues with Xbox Live(Microsoft have done it again, anything new?). Well essentially I am limited to messaging friends, no games no private chatting. Every time I try to connect to a GTA game "Multiplayer session not available". Every time I try private chat "Joining chat.......POOF! Gone".
I am 100% certain I have Gold and have redeemed an extra month but why fucking bother when I'm limited to a snail pace message service. I have been drafted by Microsoft, AGAIN! 1. Replaced fan with a defective model so texture filter fucks up occassionally. 2. Halo 3 delivered with a knife scratch across the damned disc. 3. Replace copy stolen. Now this crap. At least with Sony they don't make hollow promises.
Back to topic: does anyone have any ideas?

Same for mine. I've had mine ever sense the 1st day of the release of the xbox 360 and no problems so far.

Ive been banned from xbox live because its modded and some tool logged onto live when I wasnt home and didnt reset to non modded. Blasted idiot!!!!

There was a XBox 360 gaming club around here. The xboxes were all buggy. Don't know why...

Sorry to revive an old topic, but on the hand of XBL problems..
I'm particularly pissed off over the fact I had quite a fair bit of GTA and Bully stored on my hard-drive, and when I went to go on XBL after a few months offline, it claimed that my account was "Void" and deleted everything I had achieved in those months, including gamer points and saves on my hard-drive.. not happy.
