Yeah.. So.. there was this windows update the other day.. I checked it out, and OH L00K, SERVICE PACK 3

So I downloaded and installed it but haven't really noticed anything different about windows since that other than................................................................
-When you drag a picture from a page on your web browser to your desktop, it SHOWS the picture you are dragging WHILE you drag it onto your DESKTOP.
That is all...
What have
you guys noticed?

Well... If your running a
genuine version of windows, and have "Automatic Updates"
On.. then windows should have already downloaded SP3 and have an icon on your task tray wanting you to install it

I think this could be what browser you're using though. Because Firefox 3 does it but IE never has, for me at least.

Psychotic you are correct. I have come to the realization that I no longer use IE as it is a heaping pile of Deja Vu. I'm using Firefox 3 which would explain the translucent image effect.
DAMN IT MICROSOFT WHAT THE HELL COULD YOU HAVE POSSIBLE CHANGED!?!?!

From what I've read, this thing had Extremely Major Issues with AMD Processors. Think it was fixed.
It wouldn't allow you to access your Windows XP w/ SP3 at all.

This isn't fake.. It came on my automatic Updates and everything.. Mcafee didn't notice any trojans. Microsoft released service pack 3 as an automatic download.

Never said it was fake, I just got the links when DJ mentioned there was a fake SP3 circling the net.

[)P(]H3XUS understood it as if the whole Service Pack 3 is a fake. No, it is not fake.
There is a real Service Pack 3 and a fake one made by someone. Fake one is a virus. It probably won't come up on Automatic Updates just like that.

The only way you can get an automatic update from Microsoft, is if they decide to launch it from their servers... Therefore this is a real Service Pack 3.

Any issues so far with SP3?

Nope. I'm just having a massive problem with Adobe's CS3 Trials... They've really fucked themselves over with that..

You know what.. hes right.. Only real Microsoft updates are done when your windows is the real one, or you can say genuine version.. But the thing is... SP3 has nothing new IMO.. they just fixed some bugs... thats all..
