Regarding what would be left to tell in the Metal Gear saga, MGS4 producer Ryan Payton says there's "still a lot of room for filling in the gaps as far as Big Boss is concerned." MGS4 was pretty fucking contrived, the gaps don't need to be filled. It doesn't matter. It should be left before they inevitably ruin it and shit gets retconned etc

MGS2 and MGS4 were all over the place because of bullshit, I believe that 1, 3 and PostOp are fantastic. MGS doesn't have a good overall story but it has an amazing base which has a gap that needs to be filled instead of closing words about what happened. I wish to actually see FoxHound and the final push that made him develop Outer Heaven and produced Metal Gear.
I enjoy the idea of Raiden Gaiden too, with how he came to be disfigured saving Sunny.
