Crossfire and SLi are history:
http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=607

A great time for it to be introduced because Microsoft have said that SLi and Crossfire are "unstable and provide a poor user experience" (the irony in that statement makes me want to mess myself):

Post your thoughts on the chip and your opinions on Microsoft's sudden curve-ball OS.

Sounds like bullshit.

I'm going to stick with ATi until Larabee rolls out

Then my entire PC will be made of Intel

That's right. We've come full circle. Vista was a beta, Windows 7 is back to basics.

Windows 2000 was a beta. Windows XP back to basics.

I'm waiting for a new OS to appear, focused altogether on performance while still not looking like Win98

Don't jump the boat yet. Windows 7 is much more efficient as opposed to Vista. It can run smoothly on 1GB DDR2 according to reports.

I don't understand how Larrabee is going to give NVIDIA and ATi a run for their money. Could someone elaborate?

Can we stop detracting from the point?

I think this will see the end to Crossfire and SLi if Lucid distribute it correctly instead of on selected boards.

It will see the end to Crossfire and SLi if it actually exists, so far I see no concrete evidence.
