Team Ninja and Nintendo collaborate to make a game in the same style of the original Metroids, Ninja Gaiden AND Metroid Prime

Is this a 3rd person platformer? From the videos it looks like its sidescrolling, only to flip that out the door when Samus starts shooting to the sides and goes first person.

The CGI was pretty decent, too bad it isn't the actual game.
