I'm buying a new motherboard, processor and RAM.

http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?g=1&m=8 - Motherboards
http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?g=1&m=2 - Processors
http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?g=1&m=36 - RAM

I was thinking of buying:

MB Asus M3N78 Pro AM2-AM2+ (http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?artikl=8379)
CPU AMD Athlon X2 6000 Sck AM2 Box (http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?artikl=9935)
2x DDR2 1GB (800MHz) OCZ (http://www.pan-ex.net/vidi.php?artikl=9234)

Can any of you recommend something else? Also, the total price must be below 500 KM.

Thank you in advance.

Don't get an Athlon X2.
Don't get an AM2 motherboard.

Do the smart thing and save more money, then at least get a Phenom II.

If Phenom II, get a Tri-Core.

I hear they run very efficiently.

Apparently the third core is a piece of defective shit that doesn't perform much better than dual.

I've heard this too. Not word to word but the same basic principle.

Actually its been noted that some of the Tri Core's are actually defective Quad's with one core shut down. With some tweaks some could get it to work again but it isn't really advisable.

I personally have a 9600 Phenom (2.3Ghz), to be honest, i still think it's a good processor. Even t hough i intend to upgrade to a 955 Phenom Black Edition (3.2GHz) when i get my new SLi-compatible Mobo. You hear alot of rumors about AMD's processors being of poor quality, but for what they lack in certain areas, they make up for in others, additionally unlike Intel processors they're far better value for money.
