An ASUS M2N4-SLI mobo
An AMD Athlon 5600+X2 processor
An ATi Radeon HD4850
Anyone who buys any of the above gets a free SHITTY, SHITTY yellow case I' m currently using to keep all of the aforementioned parts together. They also get a power supply (700W, sub-par make.)
I'd have sold my original PSU/Case and HDD but my mother said she wanted to get 'more power' so she took 'em.

A new HD4850 was less than 145 euros when I bought it last year.

Pretty much.
I was keeping it all around in case I decided to return to PC Gaming but after playing Saints Row 2, Prototype, Ninja Gaiden and Forza I really don't see any need to come back.
I am going to miss TF2 alot though.

A PSU costs about £100 less than a 360.
If I really hated it, wouldn't I just use the new PSU I bought to make my computer work again?

Consoles are fun only when you're having a piss up with a group and play FIFA or something, not to play by yourself or online, but that's my opinion and my opinion sucks anyway.
Good luck selling your stuff <3

It is however so much more simpler. You don't have to spend consistently to be able to play the newer more advanced games.
FPS's and RTS's aside, I'd have a controller over a mouse and keyboard anyday as well.

I find it harder to find an internet game through matchmaking on Xbox Live than to use a server browser.

360 is about £150 second hand
a decent PSU is about £50.
What?

Hahaha, great comparison. Comparing second hand with new. Also, a decent PSU is less than £50.

...Okay. Let's change it to a new 360. £200. When I usually buy a PSU I buy a brand one for peace of mind (usually longer cables, better support, lower failure rates). But lets change it to a generic 550W. So £25.
All this does is prove my point more, does it not?

£200 for a xbox 360. I recently bought a new PSU for my PC. One with the 80% rating etc. You know, good quality?
£35.
So yeah, the PSU isn't a good excuse to buy a xbox 360. But don't mind me, you do whatever you want to do. But I think it's best if you just say "I wanted to buy a xbox 360".
Just as I can now say "I might buy a PS3 when the slim version comes out & I can get it for cheap".
I wont say I will buy a PS3 due to my mouse requiring a replacement.

..But I did say I wanted to buy an Xbox 360?
James said I was lying, because my PSU blew up.
I was making the point that a PSU is a helluvalot cheaper to replace than to buy a 360.
And considering I already bought a new PSU, if I didn't want to play on a console wouldn't I just sell the 360 and keep playing my PC? Or hell, just keep playing my PC anyway?
