Lineage 2 is a #2 MMORPG in the world (after WoW). It's a very beautiful game with <s>cute dwarf females</s> good graphics, powered by Unreal Engine, and a large world with varying landscapes and sceneries, cities, castles, sieges, dragons and all that stuff.

Just like in WoW, there are two types of L2 servers: official and 3rd-party. The latter ones are free (and somewhat illegal) and allow you to level up many times faster at the cost of a smaller community. On the official server it takes years to reach high levels, while on 3rd party ones you can make a "carrier" within 1-3 months.

Me & Alex invite you to try L2 on a free 3rd-party server. 3 steps to join:

1. Download the full game (mirror) and unzip it to a folder of your liking (C:/Program Files is the best place I guess). If your download interupts or you experience any other problems, please try FlashGet.
2. While downloading, make an account (English available, click on Union Jack to the right)
3. Launch Utopia.exe and create your first character.

When you're done with your char, post its name here (mind you: name of your character, not username/login) and we'll contact you in game. Besides help and guiding, you'll get a starting bonus of 250'000a from us and receive bigger bonuses if you decide to proceed. You will also get an additional big bonus if you bring a friend (or come together with some other forumer).

The download itself will take upto 3 days maximum, or 1 day minimum, according to my internet speed, which is really slow..

Go go private servers! Lol. I'll give it a shot, but I kinda have high expectations after playing WoW now. The only other MMO I've been able to play successfully ("successfully" meaning consistently) is Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.

Firefox 3.5 allows you to resume download, just try once again when the link starts working. If you already cancelled the download, try to save the file at the same place, it will find the older part automatically.

I"m downloading the game.

It seems that http://l2.co.ua/static/get/download/uto ... a_final.7z won't work for me either now. What the heck is going on, I know that's the bloody source. May just be the internet I'm on though (it's a real bitch).

Goddamit.

I gave up on that download.. that's just to big... even with me downloading at 80k

Too bad you didn't post 6 hours ago lol, would've totally abused my Polytechnic's internet and downloaded it there (unlimited bandwidth, 500kb/s-1.5mb/s speeds compared to my measly 50kb/s average D:).
