I got it yesterday, had Forza 2 so I knew what to expect. Quality game though I must say. Rewind is such a temptation though...

Gran Turismo is not a simulator, it's a shit game that's been shit since the second game. I fucking love the first game, it tries to be realistic but falls flat on its face with boring graphics, presentation and being a chore and the cars still don't handle faster. The best Sony 'exclusive' racing game is Ridge Racer.

Oh come on it's going to be bloated, Gran Turismo hasn't ever made much money in like 10 years. This isn't worth the development time.

This isn't a console war James. I just think GT5 will be a better experience.
The mario party series still has more profit then Forza. What's your point? Any mario game will outsell the majority of games. And the majority of the players are little kids who don't care about driving simulators.

That's still purely your opinion. GT is a fantastic series. I'm not saying Forza is Sheit, I never have. Forza is an awesome game, but I still prefer GT.
You're comparing a children's game (in general), to racing games teens/adults are more or so interested in, and understand.
You don't see 7 year old's researching and critiquing their wii game before and after they buy it (or mommy or daddy buys it).
The Audience attentive towards racing games research and buy GT, hence the higher sales.
That's like saying "Shit consoles can sell" because the 360 has sold more than the PS3. This is not a console war though, so I will steer away from this.
