Mass Effect 2

So like, it seems different, but most of that is vast improvements. "Cheers" to the game devs for making already simplistic inv system non existant in ME2. There is shitload of positive stuff to balance that quite nicely, tho. Looks way nicer than the prequel, which was disappointingly short. Minigames imo are way nicer, though the odd one from ME1 did keep me entertained.
Oh and save often, I played the game like 2 hours when I discovered myself on top of the map with no way down. Had to reload. Games got bugs, sure does.
*sneaks back to ME2*

Because spending 10 minutes deleting useless shit in inventory was fun.

ME2 is no more of an RPG than ME1. But it's Gears of War essentially created by BioWare

Nothing wrong with that.

And I wonder why did that shit end up in inv anyway. Oh yes, auto loot. Besides, I did like selling all that to shop.

Characters are more interesting and game itself looks a lot better. Combat and hit rate might still piss you off, but fine by me. 8)

what about the graphics

its always about the damn graphics

imo way fucking better. even my mate who constantly whines about game graphics said the lightning and atmosphere is pretty damn tight.

if anything the graphics and story appear ace, but ehh, id whine about bunch of other stuff. you have like couple skills with max level 4 being reached at like lvl 8 or so, maybe earlier. maxing all takes bit longer i suppose but when in ME1 you unlocked achievement with uhh.. lvl 40-50 char? then here only unlock for level is reaching lvl 30 which really smells like short game, but well see.

makes the best out of unreal engine 3 despite it still being shit for no AA.

They went with the 2 disc function for 360 too because they aren't retarded like normal developers.

then here only unlock for level is reaching lvl 30 which really smells like short game, but well see.

It's as long as ME1 apparently, the levels are really not a problem because most traditional RPG level caps are like 20

I just started playing it. WHERE'S WREX

Not really a spoiler but if he survived the first game he's TRYING TO GET THE KROGAN TOGETHER TO BEAT THE GENOPHLANGE

Grunt is his replacement but he's a savage cunt, but you can change his personality to be more wise like Wrex similar to making Alistair into a serious guy instead of sarcastic by saying the right thing during his personal quests.

I had to reformat and so I lost my ME1 data. The one where I saved the Council and did not kill Wrex. Now it's all like "hey man, you killed the council, you fucker"

Game is excellent

Half way through my second play on Insanity mode. The game is less fun on Insanity so I reccomend you do it on hardcore or something first

Fucking awesome sequel tbh. The stories, quests are so much more fun that in ME1 imo, and I cant imagine myself playing with anything other than ME1 import save. Mines renegade, so having lot of fun. Little hard to figure out how the ME1 romance line runs in ME2 (it is there, and will probably continue in ME3, can quit or cheat afaik, tho).

As for length, I already see that this game has a lot more content than ME1. Even though certain missions are considerably smaller, they make up for it with beautiful environment and solid content. I will not finish main mish until each and every damn planet has its ressources depleted!

One of the best aspects about Mass Effect 2 imho is the space exploration. I literally spent 3 hours just exploring planets and mining for stuff. Good times

ALSO WHY BALD
