I still prefer going down to EB Games and buying physical copies of my games. I like having them and it's more convenient considering NZ low bandwidth limits and the crappy speeds we get.

I used to have problems with Steam because I hated having to be online to play my games, but now that many of the games I play require some fucked up online activation I honestly have shit all choice now.

It's true that it's getting more and more popular. Some of my friends that would ordinarily never play PC games (hardcore consolers) are regularly playing TF2 and L4D2 now.
