ARE YOU READY

FOR ANOTHER GRAPHICALLY AMAZING CRYTEK GAME

RUINED BY POOR GAMEPLAY OF ANNOYING ALIENS

I'm actually looking forward to this game for the city. WAIT A GAME WITHOUT A JUNGLE WHAT THE FUCK It's going to be awesome to watch glass fly across the screen when I launch authorities into sky scrapers.

lol i think its going to be optimised this time (OH MY GOD)))))))))))))

Cryengine 3 is apparently just 2 gutted out for optimisation for consoles. Most likely will reside in PC too.

if it can run on 7 series Geforce equals it will run on my 2x Fermi and 2x 5870

Crytek have also claimed that Crysis 2 will have lower system requirements than the original game.

Being serious, this game is better than any Call of Duty MP game since 4.

I don't expect much from Crysis 2. However. I hope to god it kills the living shit out of cod.

"fuck the jungle guys, lets make buildings! Who the fuck needs polygons anyway???"

"yeah! And aliens!"

"fuck your aliens bill!"

"man, it would be a SMASH HIT"

"fine.. AND aliens"

>Crytek plummets

>Square buys Crytek

The end.

Crysis 2 for PC will require Intel Core 2 Duo (2.2GHz)/ AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ processor, 2GB of RAM and a graphics card that should be similar to a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS variant.

so basically

the same as the first

You should be fine though lol. Overclock as much as you can.

Remember,

It's a more demanding engine.

BUT.

-It's optimized now
-It's not in a jungle

they're already at 4.0, more than enough until quad core actually becomes viable for gaming and not just rendering (not for a long time)

Oh that's perfect then. Fast. Stable.

I'm waiting on sandy's shitty bridge that couldn't take Maxumus's IV"

It takes FUCKING AGES to join a FUCKING game in Crysis Multiplayer Demo at Xbox Live. I played two rounds and gave up trying to join another.

Despite that the game is cool, but game's pop up also sucks.

Agreed.

We need more Timesplitters.

We would have 4 if Crytek didn't decide to sprout a mouth and devour them. Which is their own fault really for creating such a shit game (HAZE).

If Crytek didn't devour them, then the Crysis 2 multiplayer might not have been as good as it is now. From what I hear, it's REALLY fun.

tbh dx9 >dx10, i'd force it over 10 any day.

but yes that's bullshit, dx11 is in crysis 1 now iirc. and dx11 is actually a leap from 9.

also been playing properly today, it's very good (and better than all of the cod4 clones, including 4)

gutted about these settings tho

"shortcut\Crysis2Launcher.exe" +cl_fov=90 +r_DrawNearFoV = 90 +pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov = 90 +r_MotionBlur=0 +g_skipIntro=1"

btw for the demo/leak

0 Tessellation.

0 games are impressive with tessellation yet, and the graphics cards that are currently out will be incapable of providing it's future standard
enjoy depth of view for now lol

Yeah, I was really hoping to see some good tessellation today lol.

I think newegg hates me now. I ordered a 580, only to discover that a dual gpu 590 & 595 were being released around mid-late march. Hence fourth, I canceled my order, and now I wait. I have a strong feeling this is going to be the 480 all over again.

I can see CoD being done for now.. and then, oh... what? wait?!!! A Reboot???!!!!!! NEW ENGINE?!!
HEY GUYS! IT'S A NEW MEDAL O- err CALL OF DUTY GAME!

I've founded this on a website (NOT Tested):

Just simply copy this file in the root folder of the game, then open with text editor and change the first 2 lines of resolution

Recommended to make a backup of the files.
DISCLAIMER: Some people take it without problems, others not. To this I recommend that you edit, the code is written above example the problem that the copy and paste to txt paste it wrong. So the file attachment upload soon ...

X: Users "YOUR NAME"SavedGamesCrysis2 (game.cfg)
IN VISTA - Win7
X: Users "YOUR NAME" GuardadosCrysis2 Games (game.cfg)

http://www.multiupload.com/WN0XAHSC1Q

FIX FOR DirectX11

Open system.cfg and add these 2 lines above dysplayinfo = 0
to make it so

r_driver = DX11
r_Fullscreen = 1
r_displayInfo = 0

then download these files and replace the originals in the bin32 folder, making a backup before

http://db.tt/kBS87Kr

finally create a shortcut on the desktop Crysis2.exe executable that is within bin32.
In the shortcut properties right click and add to the final destination in the command-DX11 so it is like this:
crysis2 (5620) _01_13Bin32Crysis2.exe "-DX11
