From that same computer, I removed a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 120gb. I want to put this in my current computer, and I could use instructions...

- Is the hard-drive formatted already?
- Does the hard drive use IDE/ATA (something like 40 small pins, and 4 big pins) or SATA (Large slot for power, smaller slot right next to it for data)?

To make Allan's second question a bit more understandable:

Does it look like the upper or lower harddrive?

I may only be 12, but I understand his question. I have the kind with like 40 pins, 4 big pins, then theres 4 small pins with a black piece of plastic. It should be formatted because it is from my brother's work

Well, that black pin is the drive setting jumper. Usually it's on Cable Select.

You need to put the 40-Pin IDE cable in (It should only go in one way, but if not: red wire faces towards the 4 pin power plug). Then, put in the power plug.

If you're running XP, go to your start menu, and type "compmgmt.msc". In Computer Management, choose "Disk Management".
Find your drive, and choose "Initialize Disk" (or something like).

After that, it should be simplish. Sorry, I don't know how to do it in anything other than XP. :(
