Developed by 3 studios apparently, not sure if they've secured the name yet (I'm sure Modern Warfare belongs to the top guys at former-IW) but they've announced it.

If i ended up getting it and had fun with the Spec Ops and Survival modes i'd be happy enough, Single Player would be a small added bonus but the MP grated on me two games ago.

Kill Confirm is a great idea for a gamemode. Encourages you not to camp to get your score by running for the dogtags left on bodies. Though it does look tacky to see a rotating pair of dog tags in a 'realistic' arcade shooter.

Ye, I'm glad they included it, but they should have made it more realistic. They could have easily done this by a very shiny dog tag on the ground.

-and as long as there are duel weapons, I will not consider it realistic.

Mate brought his copy over whilst he was visiting, the SP is the usual, in your face action but no real substance, something to tide you over, shame but most people buying the game don't care for its story so i suppose it does what it does well.

Never touched the MP, Spec Ops and Survival was fun as expcted

MW3 = Less than 5 hour linear as fuck ADHD storyline with new gun roster, new killstreaks, spec ops and map pack

TOTALLY WORTH $60 BASED ON ALL THOSE IMPROVEMENTS.

COD 2012 = shit (guaranteed)

I'm still waiting on a future warfare with lasers and shit. There's a mindless futuristic shooter I would probably buy if done well.

Hey that isn't a thing unique to CoD4 and onwards but the sales and the fact it has been pretty much the same for the last 5 years make it that bad.

A lot of earlier games re-used sprites (Diablo 1/2, Fallout 1/2 and DooM 1 and 2).
