Klop, to clairify my post. I spent $110 on a mouse, and I have a girlfriend.

It's this thing called JOB

and another thing called HOURS

and another thing called HOURS

and another thing called MONEY

and another thing called MONEY because of more HOURS

and another thing called GIRLFRIEND (who I'm breaking up with because she's very immature and clingy)

and another thing called grammar, which you will find nowhere in this post.

I'm spending £109 on a keyboard.

I AM NOT ASHAMED.

I also bought a keyboard last week for $110 HIGH FIVE. It was a steelseries merc stealth. NOT a cyborg.

So tell me when you break up with her, then I'll repost my earlier post.

So it won't technically be redundant.

Well, you see... With me, I have this OCD thing where I have to balance appearance, performance, and comfort. I'm going with an orange rig theme lately, my merc stealth can be set to orange, the light on my rat 7 are orange, the led on my right speaker is orange,and I'm ordering a thermaltake element V case that can be lit orange (too lazy to put in my own lights). NOT TO MENTION that the base of the acer 3D monitor is orange.

It's not even my favorite color.. I'm just going with an orange rig lol.. I've even skipped over some good psu's because they were lit blue, and not orange. So I went with black lol.
Well at the moment, I can't go past 16Gb because present time sucks. I might as well get a 580GTX though.

My VSTi plugins such as omnisphere, RMS, tubeOHM, etc. easily much up half of that by the time I'm a bit more than halfway into making a song. and when I run out of Omnisphere channels, guess what. Here comes another omnisphere! NOMNOMNOM -3 more Gb.


Derek's High Res, imagery and layering as well as rendering probably munch up the same, if not more alongside his gpu as well. I'm not as near versed in photo editing, rendering as he is, so I really haven't a clue lol.

don't know much about music, but stefan has a pretty meh RAM and a stuffload of plugins and he says it's only MILD usage of RAM

meanwhile, a simple scene in vue could take 24GB of RAM to render because fuck that program up the ass goddamn

Depends on the music you make. I make a lot of trance with 30+ layers running probably about 23+ plugins depending on how complex I want the song to be. Not to mention if I'm running 9 annalog clips simultaneously (THAT I MADE MYSELF PROTO ), it will amount to 2.6Gb. High qual digital samples, and analog samples nuke my ram (and cpu )

I run my work through Cubase, Ableton, and use FL here and there for making some loops. My ram usage usually averages to about 11.5Gb When I have a full song
