Should have mentioned that earlier, I thought he was just bitching about the game without doing anything about it. It pisses me off when people do that, so i'm glad he let Dice know.

I played in both the Alpha and the now-beta. They addressed alot of peoples concerns to do with the alpha build of the game from what I've seen. It is a very good game, the Operation Metro map isn't really a great example to show off the gameplay though.

I could spent 30 minutes typing up everything I dislike about this game when comparing it to BF2/2142/Vietnam - including BC2. But I don't want to waste my time, I simply don't like it because it is an utter disappointment to what I was looking forward to. It does not hold a candle to the main series and it is another rushed out game by DICE, one of, if not the worst company for rolling out dodgy unfinished videogames every year.

I've got a mate who is completely in love with this game.

My general course of action is to stay clear of games he likes, because they're shit.

Shame though, the thought of BF3 did excite me for a bit.

It's one of those games that are that easy that it makes you feel that you're doing good, but in truth it is easy because they want the game to sell because it makes you feel good at it.

Neither CoD (which is shit) or Battlefield set out to be fully realistic combat simulators. All games are 'easy' depending on your point of view.

The game is being judged on BF2, that's why a majority are upset. But as I say, DICE is shovelware as fuck.

Oh man DICE are so bad, who remembers the scope that didn't fall off bullets, and the super sniper shotgun glitch bug, that they put back in for awhile. :lol:

That's because every weapon is overpowered in BF3, and this stood out as it has AOE on it. Nothing new. Just DICE being terrible developers.

Yeah uh, no, they took months for that with BC2. As I think I mentioned above, they somehow made release version of BC2 bad, while open beta was actually good (unlike BF3)

MW3 and BF3 par with each other now?

BF3 looks real nice, but is still buggy, and unbalanced as fuck.

MW3 looks worse than MW2 to increase frame rate, and is one expensive map pack.

MW3 will probs be a more challenging game tbh, both will be far too easy though. As far as I'm concerned after 3 expansions worth of free and paid DLC, BF3 will be the better choice - at a budget price - for the PC - because BF3 is going to fucking suck on consoles.
