SO. The 590 is now out. Bottom line is, it performs quicker, cooler, and quieter than the 6990 for the same price. Best part is that there's no Bioware art plastered on it / unattractive cyberpunk girls.

I'm still going to wait for the late GTX 6** series or late HD 7*** series before considering a new card though.

Neither of those dual gpu cards will fit in my Lexa s anyway.

Yeah, I just looked into that.. 6990 is still faster, but is now also the hottest card.

Have to say I like the 590 better just because it looks sleek and racecar-ish. The 6990 is basically a rectangular brick.

It's like.. Lamborghini's and Ferrari's..

Ferrari's are Faster.

-but Lambo's look the sleekest.
