Anyone played either?

Big fan of the first, want to play the second.

Well, I do believe you're playing it right now... sooo....

How is it? Is it worth downloading?

I heard they actually make decent use of PhysX in the second.

Completed chapter 1 of Alice: Madness Returns, what a beast of a game so far.

It has Psychonauts platforming and Legend of Zelda combat. There's also a dash of Devil May Cry (2) in the combat, there's a desperation rip-off called Hysteria which basically turns Alice into Kayako / Sadako (for anyone unfamiliar with the names, think of generic The Grudge / The Ring girls)

Seriously, try this game.

I've got a lot of great things and a lot of disappointing things to say about this game and (once again) EA.

Just waiting for Clix to finish it, just want to hear what he thinks of it all.

http://www.facepunch.com/threads/109418 ... st30580928 Here's a list of tweaks for the game, seeing as it's on Unreal Engine 3 you should do it.

Maybe I wont DL it.

I'll just watch gameplay vids and say I played it, and give people a vague review when they ask me how it was.

I will try to download it if this is so great. I used to play the first and it was a bit cool.

One of the best games I've played for the eye candy of the environment alone.

While there's problems with the game dragging on through levels, boss fights and some graphical quality inconsistencies it is a beautiful and fascinating old school platformer. It's a shame that it has EAitus and a lot of content was cut and seems to have required a few more months to fix it.

Oh, and what I love most, great fanart:
