Infamous 2

Downright badass.

I love the way the dev's view Cole's powers, and think of it as progression, and how he's taking control of his abilities, and figuring out how to use them to their full potential. There are too many dev's that don't do this, so I'm glad sucker punch has set an example.

I think that Cole is progressing towards full elemental powers.. but we'll have to see when Infamous 3 comes around.

Anyone will feel like a badass when playing Infamous 2. Guaranteed.

Although I liked the voice acting for Cole much better in the first.. I don't mind his voice in the second.

No height pls James.

It was horrible, Prototype was much better than it in terms of feel, gameplay and pacing. Infamous definitely looks pretty and a much more graphically astonishing game (which is significantly much better with the sequel) but the gameplay is utter trash, it has a SIN in hack and slash-style sandbox games where the melee is absolutely HORRIBLE (But improved in the sequel, I believe). The perfect way to describe Infamous is underwhelming.

Mind you, you liked Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

I do have to agree that Prototype was more fun than infamous 1. The second is MUCH better though in every aspect. I found after unlocking everything in prototype, and running ramped got pretty bland, where as Infamous 2, you have a variety of moves like prototype, except Cole's moves are more stylish, and the graphics definitely help with the whole "I have powers fuck yeaaaa" experience. It feels like you're actually doing something, and actually making in impact on people, and the environment, which prototype failed to do for me.

Every game has it's flaws.

It's a great game.

sorry but in a super hero game where you cant break down a chain link fence and the rival videogame can, that's more offensive than police dogs to Muslims.

I'm not comparing it to prototype though, nor am I really reviewing it.

It's lol-able, but I really don't care if I break the fence or not.

Maybe we'll get to break the indestructible Hell-fences in the third

Finally got around to playing this over the past two weeks, finished the evil ending on easy and playing through the good path now on hard mode, very enjoyable game, much better than the first in mostly all aspects.

The powers are more creative this time around too which was pleasing.

As for the Voice Acting, was a surprise but nothing major.

Some of the characters in the game though are awful, Nix is shocking, Zeke was much better developed this time around though.

Aidan, the Infamous 2 DLC is going quite cheap at the moment on PSN, did you try it? Was wondering if it was worth the money.
