Anybody ever managed to reflash this phone or use PC 'net via bluetooth?

Aidan, I'm sick of your replies like this recently - quit it. Stop thinking for other people, if you've got nothing remotely interesting to say outside of the spam forums; keep it to yourself.

Thank you, also, my mother had this phone but I couldn't help hence no post.

I've so far de-branded, rooted, unlocked and upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 an Orange San Francisco today, put a sim card half-way and entered some codes into a samsung SGH-E370 and bricked 2 Google nexus phones. IN ONE DAY.

Yet I can't unlock a damned fucking K800i.

I love tech stuff but I'm USELESS with mobiles. Well, non-android ones.

I'm curious as to how you interpreted my post.

"My replies like this recently" = around 2? In which one is questionable.

My comments can sound stupid, but that's just the way I am.

I'm tending to side with james.... slightly.

aidan you do come off rather abrupt, sarcastic and usually without justification. with justification it'd be fine

Hope i made my point fairly, anyway.

Gave up on phone, I'll stick with O2 for now. Considering it's like 5 years old it isn't a bad handset, actually!

Well, if it works, and you're fine with the phone.. Then why bother getting a new one right? You can save some ££££

Ahh I use to have that phone. It was fantastic until it just got worn down over time, I originally got it from someone who was having problems with it and thought it was just bricked. I took it home reflashed it and there you go a new working phone.

I screwed up and let SE updater update it to a version which couldn't be unlocked. I've modded it now though, tis okay.

I'm a tad jealous though, my dad bought an Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade) using Tesco clubcard vouchers (double value in august) and got it for £24.99 including free tenner credit.

I reeeeeally want an Android phone but lack of employment means no contracts and I can only afford cheap handsets, although the San Fran is rather cheap for a smartphone anyway. Incidentally if anyone's looking for a decent cheap smart phone it really is quite good for the price, if you're not looking for a good camera, at least.

My SE k800i's camera will kick it's ass.

Yeah the camera was great on it. Haha, Im in a similar situation with my Nokia e61i which is a metal symbian phone. The camera sucks ass though.
