Posted: Wed Oct 05, 11 11:03 amYes but the graphics look worse. You control 4 marines at a time with backstories etc and different dialogue. They act as your lives, you switch to another marine. You can come across more friendly marines as you play and recruit them if your party is not full. Health is sparce apparently.
Posted: Wed Oct 05, 11 11:05 amNot particularly metroid-like in that it doesn't seem particularly exploration based. Definitely like contra though, albeit a slow contra with non-respawning enemies (which is good)

I think there's a lot of exploration and upgrades/weapons. Locked doors etc find whatever opens throughout the playing field. A lot of bosses/original Alien design do not steal apparently. Out soon, only heard about it yesterday when I saw 4 odd reviews praising it.
