He was the guy who drew amazing artwork that the 3D modelers at Bethesda were unable to create.

Hopefully hire another artist to take over, it is amazing when you see the jump of design from Oblivion - Skyrim and I think they should persue this because it was a beautiful game as compared to the former. Morrowind is on its own because the art in that game is just interesting, such as the game itself.
