No, that's pretty true and false at the same time. KoF is rising fast in popularity, T6 is still popular, Blazblue deserves not to be popular and welp THAT'S ABOUT ALL THERE IS for non-clapcom fightans

It's pretty bold to expect the FGC to just jump ship from what they've been born and bred on. What SHOULD have happened is that whoever was looking to enter the FGC with Skullgirls or any FGC guys who were looking to put serious time into it needed to force it into their locals, run their own tourneys for it, MAKE IT POPULAR GOD DAMN. I think the people who religiously play it and do nothing for the FGC are the 'literal scrubs'

It was always been popular outside of the FGC. Very popular Southern American game. The latest installment has been very accessible and people like Juicebox love this game for good reasons.

Blazblue deserves not to be popular and welp

Animu fags who love Guilty Gear/BlazBlue/Persona 4 Ultimate in the FGC do not count.

Skullgirls does have a small scene but the lack of tournament support is astonishing, especially when (the widely criticised) SFxT gets a higher recognition at this year's EVO over Skullgirls. It's a joke, a Capcom funded joke and you know it.

I did see it coming but was hoping people wouldn't be too ignorant. It's pretty much the best Marvel vs Capcomlike (another reason why they should be quick to adopt SG, it's fucking MARVEL) and it actually plays extremely well in a 1v1 and 2v2 setting aswell.

Combos are insane at the moment and part of the reasons hardcore fighting game fans dropped it, but the patch will fix it hopefully. Thankfully Skullgirls has DLC hooks and will be given more chances if people accept it.
