Whats the most surprising game you've ever played? Good and bad ways are welcome.

Kingdom Hearts for PS2 was probably the most surprising game i've ever played in the sense that it's now a major favourite for me.

There's been a few i've been unpleasantly surprised at, the most recent being FF13, horrible game.

NIER. Second seperate sequel to a really bad videogame by a bad developer, turns out to be one of the best videogames to portray real emotional characters ever, with an okay game under it.

NIER is the definition of a cult hit.

I've to say Minecraft. Saw it on videos since 2010 and it didn't look really interesting at all. I was quite amazed that so much people was playing it. Tried it on 2011 and I nerded it for some weeks.

Also CIV2 looked really boring when my brother was playing it (I was 8yo). Later I fell in love for it.

Syndicate (the remake).

Was expecting a generic shitty FPS, but it was actually pretty fun
