For info on the game visit: http://www.inthegroove.com (In The Groove) or http://www.inthegroove.biz/index.htm (In The Groove 2)
In The Groove is a game that greatly resembles Dance Dance Revolution, but takes it leaps and bounds further. Developed by RoXoR games, In The Groove (and its continuation, In The Groove 2), require players to step on panels in time with music and oncreen arrows. But blah blah blah, you already know that (hopefully...?)
The thing that separates ITG from DDR (NO, NOT DOUBLE DIGIT RAM) is the sheer step variety, interface quality, and music variety the game has.
Not only doess ITG have tons of new features such as Mines (which lower your health bar if you hit them) and Rolls (require you to hit two panels consecutively for the duration of the roll) , but the difficulty FAR surpasses that of DDR. In ITG, the difficulty goes up to 13-step (as opposed to DDR's 10) which is LIGHTYEARS harder than the most difficult song in DDR.
A much prettier interface also helps.
