Deus Ex Alpha

Anyone got one yet? i have one X-Box 360 i had to pre-order to get one and it cost 500$ picked it up at 8:30 am "Pacific Time -8 hours" on the 22nd along with Perfect Dark Zero,Call Of Duty 2,Dead Or Alive 4,Gun,Final Fantasy XI,and Quake 4.....

So does anyone else have one yet or planing on getting one?

No, we all play Deus Ex here and we're using computers.
500 $ for that shhhhh....

The only reason I would get one would be to play the new Perfect Dark and the new PGR

Well thats excaxtly why this is lister in other games now isint it?
And it might cost 500$ but its totally worth it,its the best gaming
platform to ever have been made,the graphics are soo good
they allmost look like real life

and i kind of prever X-Box more cause dumb-ass sony makes you pay
for each indevidual game you play only,meanwhile Microsoft was smart
enough to come out with X-Box Live that covers every game with
online Capabilite's so thats another reason why i support Microsoft
more than Sony,BUT if PS3 has Kill-Zone 2 or some other good title's
i might consider pre-ordering one when pre-order becomes availible

The PS3 will dominate the non-believers as it will dominate XBOX-360. Two or three years from now, you're going to hear:

Um......i still highly doubt that,cause 2 or 3 years later then that people
will say "Hey lets go play ~Insert new futuristic good game system here~
at your house those old systems like X-Box 360 and PS3 suck"

Why does anyone care which one is greater they will all be eventualy
forgoten then thrown out of the publics interest,like Coleco Vision
it was a god in its time but now its a old moth eaten,dusty memory
of how technology was at one time

So there's no point in even cheering for one....just a waste of effort

Note: if someone did say there bored with X-Box 360 id slap them
in the face and ask them if they were mad,just cause the X-Box 360
will only be a few months older then the PS3 its a really stupid thing
to say,cause i seriously doubt that anyone could abandon and forget
about the X-Box 360 within a few months,its legacy is gonna last for
years just like the original X-Box did,poeple are still buying X-Box 1's
just so they can play Halo 2.....

The game itself is nothing spectacular. It provides a sketchy story, a fairly far-fetched hero (I'm not saying Freeman isn't.) The game's strength (I feel anyway) is its multiplayer, which I never got a chance to really experience may I add. It is no where as good as it is made out to be. It has basically built up a reputation of being "an awesome game," which of course I feel is utterly wrong.

I played through it all on my mates Xbox, I enjoyed it, I thought nothing more of it however. The game itself is lacking something... a little spunk perhaps?

GG, Halo 2 is a good game, just that it's played too much >_>

kk bob, same feeling applies, just its good to know where everyone stands exactly.

Storylinewise the bit before you encounter the flood was pretty fscking good shit though!

It will be good when the PS3 comes out because it will probly be a
really great system AND the X-Box 360 will drop prices alot to
compete with the PS3 so it will be good for anyone who
wants an X-Box 360,cause my friend bought the core
system and it sucks,but of course he doesent care
for playing online so he doesent need all the
good stuff that comes with a normal
X-Box 360,Me on the other hand
enjoy playing online and i
think its rather fun

now in my opinion Sony hasent went nowere close to "downhill" sense ps2..they actually put up a good fight against the x-box...now i really believe that when ps3 comes out it will Blow everything els out of the water....i have a xbox 360..and i think its pretty good...i really dont understand why so many people diss it so much...after all its just a GAME SYSTEM....nothing more...nothing less..if you dont like it..then dont buy it...that simple.

and besides...their are a hell of alot more sony fans then xbox fans (i'm a sony fan myself)..so yeah microsoft will have their hands full when it comes to selling more systems then ps3.

I played the 360 a couple days ago an here's my verdict:

Stick to your PC. Wait for the PS3. Go buy a PSP.


Games I played: Call of Duty 2, Perfect Dark Zero, PGR, Kameo, and Condemned: Criminal Origins


Call of Duty 2- Same as the PC except two key points: The graphics SUCK compared to the PC version on max quality and you can't cook grenades.

Perfect Dark- Solid gameplay and decent graphics, just nothing spectacular.

PGR- Great actually.

Kameo- ..IMO just another adventure game. Nothing special.

Condemned: SUPER DUPER AWESOMENESS YAY

I would prefer Sony over Microsoft because Sony actually is better than Microsoft in different ways.

1 - PS2 can play PS1 games. Awesome?

2 - Microsoft XBOX has a built in hard drive. Yes, but it can turn even laggier compared to PS2. Besides, you can buy a hard drive for the PS2 anyways.

3 - PSP, i don't see a convertable Microsoft XBOX:P

All true..but the thing that somewhat annoys me is that people wanna diss the 360 when they in fact havent even played the thing...a friend of mine did this...i asked has he played one before...he says no...i ask has he somehow found out about problems with the system somewere...he said no..all i'm saying is..if your gonna diss something...have facts to back it up...cause theirs a chance it wont be true.

I wanted one of thse, but im more of a Playstation person, so i decided to wait until the Playstation 3 (PS3) comes out...

But i love playing online, so Xbox 360 would be the better way to play online....
